European Parliament: meeting with Italian MEPs

On September 12, the Italian delegation of The Future We Want had the pleasure of meeting with MEPs Camilla Laureti and Alessandra Moretti. As reported by the participants and the MEPs, The Future We Want aligns with the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) entered into force on 18 July 2024, a legislative act aimed at raising awareness of sustainability.

An additional point of reflection that came out at the discussion with the youth was the endorsement of the Green Deal: youth activism, such as the Fridays for Future, was essential to the construction and implementation of the Green Deal. A great signal from the MEPs confirming that the path we are on is the right one!
